Нашел английские субтитры и посмотрел этот фильм.

В главных ролях: Тарик Акан и Шериф Шезер — мастодонты турецкого кино.

The actors Tarik Akan and Sheriff Shezer are giants of Turkish cinema.

Карсская область после войны 1877-1878 гг. и до 1921 г. (дэ юрэ) была в составе России. Область заселяли русскими "сектантами", в первую очередь, молоканами.
 Kars Province [oblast'] after the war of 1877-1878 and up to 1921 was legally a part of Russia. The province was settled by "sectarians" from Russia, the first of which were Spiritual Christian Molokane with Dukhobortsy and many other groups.
Завязка Story Line
Наши дни. Деревня карсской области. Доживает свои дни последний молокан — Мишка (Тарик Акан). Живет он впроголодь. Односельчане вроде бы сочувствуют, но полоумная бабка Папуч (Шериф Шезер) не дает никому ему помогать. У Алмы, внучки Папуч, хороший слух, но пианино в деревне есть только у Мишки. Алма и Мишка сходятся, Папуч в неистовстве. Today, in a village in Kars Province, lives Misha (actor: Tarik Akan), the last Molokan. He is poor (lives from hand to mouth). His fellow villagers appear have sympathy for him, but the crazy old-woman Papuch (Sheriff Shezer) does not allow anyone to help him. Papuch's granddaughter Alma has an ear for music, but Misha has the only piano in the village. Alma and Mishka became friends which upset Papuch into a frenzy.
Фильм классный, искренний и добрый. История с переходом пианино из рук в руки — блеск. Акан и Шезер играют хорошо и убедительно. Музыка приятная и очень гармонично вписывается в картинку. Местами грустно, местами смешно, но нигде не натянуто – все вполне естественно. The film is well done, sincere and kind. The history of the piano with the transition from one to another is brilliant. The acting of Akan and Shezer is well done and convincing. The music is very good and blends harmoniously into the picture [Best Music award]. It's partly sad, sometimes funny, but never far-fetched, and all real.
Мне не понравилась только развязка. Ясно, что Мишка и Папуч всю свою сознательную жизнь любят друг друга. По ходу фильма возникают два вопроса: почему они не вместе и почему бабка выказывает дедке только ненависть. Ответ слегка топорный и натянутый.
 The only part I did not like was the outcome [ending]. Clearly, Mishka and Papuch were in love all their adult life. During the film, two questions arise: why are they not together, and why does the old woman [Papuch] only show hatred toward the old man [Mishka]. The answer is awkward and stretched.
Быт молокан (в детстве мне доводилось бывать в молоканской деревне) отображен на троечку. Не понятно, почему, имея дом, Мишка спит в сенях. Сам интерьер его жилища — «винегретный» и кусочный. В его избу постановщики постарались напихать все, что смогли найти «молоканского»: тут и ковер с характерными узорами, и вязаный носок, и старую фотографию и самовар — но все вместе это не образует единого целого. Ругать за такие несоответствия сильно не хочется, особенно когда вспоминаешь русский быт в каком-нибудь голливудском «Евгении Онегине». I visited a Molokan village when I was a child. I give a "C" grade for the way the life of Molokans is portrayed. It is not clear why Mishka sleeps in entry hall [of a mill] when he has a house. The interior design of his home is "hodge-podge" [like a beet salad] and piece-wise. The directors tried to cram everything they could find "Molokan" into his house — typical carpets, knitted socks, an old photograph and a samovar. But all this stuff together is not uniform. I don't want to criticize them for these inconsistencies, especially when one remembers how Russian lifestyle is reflected in Hollywood's "Eugene Onegin" [1999 British production].
В усиленные консультации этнографов-молокановедов не верю. Будь они, от визуального ряда можно было бы прибалдеть. Так и с костюмами немного не то, и с бытом. I don't believe that they really consulted ethnographers who studied Molokans. If those people saw this movie they would go crazy from the visual discrepancies. There is something wrong with the the costumes and the lifestyle.
Если подводить итог, то любовная история турецко-молоканского разлива не вышла. Но получился очень хороший фильм о жизни турецкого села. Посмотрел с удовольствием. In summary, the love story between Turks and Molokans did not add up. But it was a pretty good movie about the life of a Turkish village. I enjoyed watching it.
