GCC Russian Club Meeting--December 5, 1998

Meeting--December 5--Saturday, 7-10 PM

	Guest Speaker: Dr. Batalden, ASU History Department, spoke about the ASU Russian and East European Studies Consortium (name changed to Melikan Center in 2006). He says there is lots of financial help for studying critical languages.
	Masha showed slides of Moscow and gave us a tour of the Kremlin. Before moving to the US, Masha worked with a travel agency in Moscow.
	Larry, president and wife, Eleanor of the Germans from Russia Club visited. Signups for Christmas Party. Hot chai was served, with lemon and sugar.	Look, she's wearing a dress. Penny, our president, just participated in the a national speach tournament held at ASU. She won 2 of 4 debates.
